Another Postcard (Stone Butterfly Rockstars Book 1) by Elle Christensen

Brooklynn Hawk is an enigma. Highly sought after for her incredible voice, her talent shines bright in the studio. But a dark past and a secret she holds close to her heart keep her from permanently stepping into the limelight.
Until her favorite band offers her the chance to chase her dreams.

As the lead singer for rock sensation, Stone Butterfly, Levi Matthews is wary of bringing in new talent. But, he has heard just how amazing Brooklynn is and when the need for another singer arises, he’s confident that she is the perfect addition.

However, he doesn't count on laying his heart at her feet.

But the world of music can be as dangerous as it is thrilling. Joining Stone Butterfly on tour was hard enough for Brooklyn, but when she finally succumbs to Levi's charms, the rock 'n' roll life turns deadly.

Will Levi and Brooklynn keep their voices and their hearts entwined? Or will the music prove too hard to survive?

**Can be read as a standalone**

It's no secret (unless you don't read my reviews, which is probably a 99%-100% probability), I am a huge sucker for rock star romances.

Elle delivered what I wanted.  Almost as good as pizza delivery.  Levi (helllooooo hot name for a hot rocker) and Brooklynn (hellloooo sexy name for a star female rocker)... already we have a win win for names alone.  Pretty good basis for a book, right?

Okay, so aside from their names... they have sizzling chemistry with strong personalities that are endearing, adoring, sexing, sizzling (basically I'm just putting in any word with ing here).  But in all honesty and seriousness without any more ing, both characters are pretty fucking epic.  I loved them.  I adored them.  I loved and adored them together and their off-the-charts chemistry just makes me crave more of these two.

This was my first Elle read and I'm definitely going to be a returning fan to this series.  The writing is engaging, it's entertaining, it's smooth, and yeah... I'll just say it.... sexy.  Oh.  I bet Elle is sexy too.  I like her style.  Of writing.  Maybe more.  She snuck up on me with this book and her and her books are welcome to my bed anytime.  To read.  With Levi.

This is a definite high, high, and hi *waving* top rock star read for me.  I'm just saying now though, Levi and Brooklynn will be a tough act to follow.  Those two are *le sigh*.

The plot is an A+, the characters are an A++++, the chemistry is an A+++++.

This book gave me my movie moment.

The end.
