Shiver by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine
Wide-eyed and innocent, you stumbled into my world, never knowing the danger that lurked within. The Wolfe’s Den is no place for a little lamb, but you came anyway, and from the moment you stepped inside, you were mine.
In my life there are no happy accidents. Every move is carefully orchestrated. Every situation premeditated. That’s what makes the hunt so intoxicating.
What you need, I become.
What you crave, I will give.
Except the one thing you desire above all else—love.
Everything I told you is true—I’m not a good man, but you choose what you want to hear.
You shouldn’t have come that night. Maybe then you’d be safe. But it’s too late now.
I want you because you remind me of him. I need you to give me back what I lost.
You know that feeling when you think you are being watched? The hairs on the back of your neck stand up, heart beats faster, breathing speeds up and your fight or flight senses are triggered….THIS is Shiver.
Shiver is dark and the creep factor is high. This book will have you looking over your shoulder, double checking to be sure all the doors are locked, and running to your bed after the lights are all out.
It’s in the dark where the wolves come out to play. One Wolfe in particular. This Wolfe has zeroed in on his pray. His little lamb. So unassuming and innocent his lamb. But this Wolfe has no idea his chosen lamb is not as predictable has he originally assumed.
Just when I thought I had everything figured out, I didn’t. Not even close. Ella and Brooke so totally knocked me on my ass. They are evil geniuses I tell you. I can picture them rubbing their hands together, twirling their mustaches (not really), and MUAHAHAHAH’ing at their fans. Evil. Geniuses.
Shiver is one fucked up read that I did not want to end. It was deliciously wrong and I want more.
