Anything but Minor
***Strong language and explicit sexual content.
It started with a promise. One he can’t remember and one she will never forget…..
We were introduced to Andy (Rafe’s best friend) in Anything but Minor. He wormed his way into my heart. He is a ball player, bar owner, best friend and a beer enthusiast. He also happens to be smart and sexy as hell. He is an all-around great guy, has a lot to offer a special lady but in the end, his heart was torn to shreds and he has no desire to risk that happening again.
Andy is doing his best to move on from his broken heart. What he wasn't expecting was the sexy, charismatic, smart and beautiful 911 dispatcher April, to turn his life upside down. A breath of fresh air, easy going, honest and laid back. They immediately hit it off.
April was also introduced to us in the first book. She and Alice became really good friends. April is getting over her heartache and helping Alice out with all of her wedding needs. She gave her ex 15 years of her life and has nothing but a broken heart and emptiness to show for it. When she meets the sexy and highly intoxicated best man Andy, she is immediately taken by him. One drive home is all it takes for him to gain access to her heart. Though Andy is three sheets to the wind, they have a funny, yet touching conversation, one that April will never forget.
When Alice begs April to help put together some wedding items she had delivered to Andy’s house, she jumps at the chance. When she arrives, they quickly get to work and start talking and during their conversation she realizes that he doesn’t remember anything and it breaks her heart. From that point on, she keeps herself and her heart distant. If friendship is all he wants, then that is what she will give him.
In a way their relationship is kind of cat and mouse. A little hot and cold and it is just enough. Their attraction for each other is plain as day and when they finally cross that line, DAYUM!
Major Love is a funny and sexy sports romance. I laughed a lot. Andy and April’s story broke my heart one minute, melted my heart the next and then kicked started it with the sex… OMGEEEE, the sex. *fansselfoff*. The journey they are on has them dealing with their past, so they can be happy in the present which makes them look at their future.
A must read! Kate Stewart has hit another home run with this story and her characters.
